Publication charges and fee waiver policy

This journal charges author fees to fund faster review and to manage the journal. Fee concessions (partial or full waiver) are available on request through the proper channel — see below.

Fast Review Process Fee (optional)	₹3,000 INR	Ensures peer review, editorial decision, and author notification within 3.5 weeks. Paying this fee speeds up review only — it does not guarantee acceptance, and excludes the publication fee.

Waiver & Concession Policy

Authors requesting a fee concession through the proper channel are considered, and a full waiver is provided where appropriate.

JERA also offers partial fee concessions for authors who need this kind of support — again, requested through the proper channel.

The editorial board's decision on any waiver/concession request is final and binding; no legal obligation arises from an unapproved request.

Manuscripts selected by the journal's editors as highly acclaimed are not charged a publication fee. Manuscripts commended by the editors receive a 50% discount on the Article Publication Fee.

Publication Options

JERA offers authors two publication routes: the Regular Publication Fee option above, or an Open Access publication fee option. Articles published under either option are fully peer-reviewed. Open Access articles are immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download upon acceptance, under the re-use terms of JERA's User License Agreement.

Note: source policy documentation lists the Open Access fee in a different currency (€3,000) than the Regular fee (₹2,500 INR) — this inconsistency is in the original policy document and should be confirmed with the editorial office before publishing this figure.
