Correction, Retraction, Withdrawal Policies

Correction: All officials in the correctional system must be able to generate short and clear written instructions for employees, offenders, and the general public. Written policy and procedure are essential due to concerns over administrative liability, accreditation criteria, case law, and the need to encourage professional conduct. It's the foundation for keeping an eye on employees, teaching them new skills, and providing backup in case something goes wrong. When errors are discovered, they are reported in the next issue's "Corrections and addendum" section.

Retraction

A retraction is an official declaration that contradicts or contradicts an earlier statement or an order to stop publishing the original statement. Journal editors or authors can initiate a retraction (or their institution). This is when the reviewers come in—the editors will ask for their feedback. Articles that have been submitted more than once, contain substantial plagiarised material, or make fraudulent use of data will be retracted. In common usage, a retraction is used to refer to a statement that has been modified in such a way as to change its central factor, whereas a correction is used to refer to one that does not change its central factor. A retraction or a correction may be warranted depending on the specifics of the situation. The Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) rules and standards serve as the foundation for the Journal of Mechanics of Continua and Mathematical Sciences Retraction policy (COPE).

Withdrawal

Even after publication, very few writers ask to have their paper withdrawn. In rare cases, authors want to withdraw their manuscripts just before the journal is about to publish them. This could lead to unnecessary delays for the editorial team. For an article to be withdrawn, the Corresponding Author must submit a request in the appropriate format. When an article is withdrawn, it is stored in our database but no longer receives any attention. Articles may be "Withdrawn" from our set Journals if they are either not yet published but represent early versions of articles, are determined to be inadvertent duplicates of other published article(s), or are decided to break our journal publishing ethical criteria in the perspective of the editors. Article withdrawal from Journals will result in a penalty. When a manuscript is withdrawn within 15 days of submission, the author is not required to pay a withdrawal fee; however, when a manuscript is withdrawn after it has been reviewed and accepted, the author must pay a withdrawal fee. The price is Rs. 3,000/- INR in India and US$ 35/- everywhere else. Although the Article may be retracted from the Journal after publication, doing so will incur a penalty, and the Article Processing Charge (APC) will not be returned under any circumstances.
